Contradiction vs Hypocrisy

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have probably noticed the sheer volume of “Hypocrisy” and “Contradiction” being spoon-fed to us each day. It has become quite popular. Everybody is a little guilty of hypocrisy and contradiction from time to time and its a human failing we try to correct. Christians especially but true Christians recognize it in themselves and aim to correct it. Meanwhile, there are others that are quite comfortable with this human failing. It has become fashionable it seems especially in politics and media. I say hypocrisy and contradiction are bedfellows, they go together like peas and carrots.

As a refresher for this particular article, the definitions are always helpful.

Definition of hypocrisy:
person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings
Other Words from hypocrite

Definition of Contradiction:
the statement of a position opposite to one already made.

Hypocrisy and contradiction are serious credibility issues. If you contradict yourself on numerous small matters how can you be trusted on the larger ones? These 2 bedfellows are so out of control in what are supposed to be our intelligent community it is breathtaking.

I have come to the conclusion that this repeated hypocrisy, contradiction and errors in continuity are just a glitch or maybe bad code in their programming. Watching and reading news today I couldn’t help but notice the repeated use of the words “Cult” and “deprogramming”, across multiple news organizations and numerous people. It was awesome! All like little robots! I love watching stuff like that.
The title of this blog is “contradiction vs hypocrisy”, is a bit misleading, as if there is a battle between the two. There is no difference!
